Minutes of the 45th Meeting of the Senior Citizen Welfare Association. .

Date: 9 April 2026
Time: 5:00 PM
Venue: Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. .

The 45th meeting of the Association was held on 9 April 2026 at 5:00 PM in the Senior Citizen Bhavan Meeting Hall. As per the agenda, the following discussions, acknowledgements and resolutions were presented before the members and approved by them.

1. Welcome Address: .
The Joint Secretary, Mr. K. Pandurangaiah Garu, warmly welcomed all the honorary members to the 45th meeting of the Association.

2. Invitation onto the Dias: .
The Joint Secretary invited President Dr. Jayanth Kumar Garu to preside the chair and then all the Executive Committee members onto the dais.

3. Birthday Wishes – March: .
Members celebrating birthdays in April were felicitated with shawls and greeted:

                 – 62nd Birthday.
o.-             Sri A Ravinder Garu – 20/04/1958
                 – 68th Birthday.
o.-             Sri P L Srinivasulu Garu – 25/04/1961
                 – 61st Birthday.
o.-             Sri B Buchaiah Garu – 09/04/1941
                 – 85th Birthday.
The following members could not attend the meeting, but the birthday wishes were conveyed to them and prayed for their long life and good health even in their absence:

                 – 64th Birthday.
o.-             Sri N Srinivas Reddy Garu – 24/04/1955
                 – 71st Birthday.
o.-             Sri P Nagabhushanam Garu – 30/04/1960

o.-             Sri K Srinivas Goud Garu – 07/04/1954
                 – 72nd Birthday.
o.-             Sri PVN Prasad Garu - 11/04/1961
                 – 65th Birthday.

                 – 68th Birthday.

All the members greeted with applause, and prayed for their good-health and long-life:
Sweets, hot and tea were sponsored by PL Srinivasulu Garu, A Ravinder Garu, B Buchaiah Garu.

4. The 3rd Series – 12th Chit Lucky Draw: .
The 12th chit draw was jointly conducted by Mr. G. Venkateswara Rao and Mr. Pandurangaiah.
Sri MVV Kameshwar Rao Garu won the lucky draw.

5. Financial Statement of Yadadri-Swarnagiri Trip : .
Sri V Venumohana Rao Garu submitted the Financial Statement of Yadadri-Swarngiri Pilgrimage as follows;

      COLLECTIONS:
            51 members @ Rs1000 each Rs.51000.00

      EXPEDITURE:
            1. Bus Payment Rs. 22500.00
            2. Breakfast Rs. 6632.00
            3. Parking Rs. 200.00
            4. Lunch at Yadadri Rs.10500.00
            5. Tea at Swarnagiri Rs. 580.00
            6. Night Tiffin at Swarnagiri Rs. 3060.00
            7. Miscellaneous Expenses Rs. 3834.00

                  TOTAL EXPENSES = Rs. 47306.00

            Balance amount deposited in SCWA Account
            Rs. 3694.00

6. Acknowledgements and Thanks: .
The President Dr. Jayanth Kumar expressed heartfelt thanks to all the members for making every program a grand success:
     o.-             The President thanked all members for making the Yadadri-Swarnagiri pilgrimage a grand success.
     o.-             He also thanked the key persons Sri V Venumohana Rao Garu, Sri K Pandurangaiah Garu, Sri G Venkateswara Rao Garu, Sri Ch Lakshman Garu for taking active part in making the pilgrimage for well planning for smooth, memorable and enjoyable trip.
     o.-             The president thanked Sri Maruthiram Garu, Sri Tangirala Seetarama Rao Garu, Sri Mallikarjun Garu, Sri Tippeswamy Garu, Sri O M Kavi Garu, and Sri Anjaiah Garu for entertaining the participants of the pilgrimage throughout the journey.

7. Doctor Gari Salahaalu (Doctor’s advice): .
The President Jayanth Kumar introduced Dr Ramakrishna Janapathi Garu, Consultant Cardiologist, Citizen Speciality Hospital MBBS, MD(Gen. Medicine), DM (Cardiology – NIMS)
Under this program Dr Ramakrishna Janapathi Garu gave an elaborate lecture on “CARDIAC WELLNESS” using multimedia. He explained the causes, remedies, precautions and healthy habits to keep our heart healthy.

8. Honouring the Speaker: .
Dr. Jayanth Kumar, President of the association along with his team honoured Dr J. Ramakrishna Garu for his wonderful explanation using multimedia and clearing all the doubts of senior members.

9. Conclusion of Meeting: .
Mr. Pandurangaiah Garu Joint Secretary concluded the meeting with Vote of Thanks.
